Wordpress, Joomla & Shopify Template Integration.
A content management system, or CMS, gives you the power to change the content of your site whenever you need to rather than relying on a third-party to do it for you.
I offer template integration into popular blogging engine Wordpress, powerful open source CMS Joomla and easy to use hosted eCommerce solution Shopify. These three web applications cover the breadth of most clients' basic website needs, but should you require anything outside of these applications' capabilities, or it would be easier to use something else, we can create a bespoke CMS.
We can also provide on-screen video tutorials for your individual site to watch on your computer, walking you through exactly how to use your chosen content management solution – you will have instant support as and when you need it.
Wordpress.
The world's most popular open-source blogging engine is incredibly user friendly and has advanced features 'straight out of the box'. Having used it for over two years, I have seen it grow into something more than just a blogging engine.
Having created entire sites using a single install of Wordpress I know it can be used to great effect, for example: Hannah Forward – does not look like a typical 'blog', with its use of large imagery and galleries, but yet is totally Wordpress powered. With ease, the client can add information to any section, as well as add navigation items and edit pages. And because they are using Wordpress, they have all the advantages that a quality blogging engine has to offer – RSS feeds, site pinging, site search, readers comments, multiple administrator levels/roles etc.
Joomla.
One of the world's most popular CMSs, Joomla is extremely powerful – it allows the administrator to manage nearly every facet of a site's content.
Joomla sites are sometimes criticised for 'looking the same'. In most circumstances I am experienced enough with Joomla to make it look however you need without compromising the functionality. Shopify.
Developing custom eCommerce solutions can often be a long and expensive process. For a small percentage-based fee, Shopify instantly provides everything needed for a basic web shop including hosting. It's a joy to use, easy to set up and the administration interface beautifully designed
I have integrated many templates into Shopify, including Shirted Ape, which I also designed and coded. It comes with all the features you expect a shop of this size: item options (such as 'small', 'medium' or 'large'); customisable categories (such as 'Male' and 'Female'); price item shipping cost by weight; geographically specific shipping costs; editable navigation, pages and news/blog style pages.
Currently, I am only available to work evenings and weekends.
Complete websites start from £1,200. My standard rates are: £240 per day & £30 per hour.
